Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture, Adil Karimli, met with theater figures from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan during a significant event to commemorate the 153rd anniversary of the Azerbaijani professional national theater. The event was co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Union of Theater Workers, and the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event saw the participation of leading theater organizations' heads and representatives from the Turkic countries. Minister Karimli extended his congratulations on National Theater Day, an important date in Azerbaijan's cultural calendar, and acknowledged the development of theater art in the country.

The Minister also highlighted the Azerbaijani theater's 153-year history and its contributions to the cultural environments of neighboring and friendly countries throughout different historical periods.
