Baku: Azerbaijan's revenues from oil product exports more than doubled in the first seven months of this year. Azerbaijan exported 546,348.35 tons of oil products valued at USD 423,575.49 thousand in the period from January to July, as reported by APA-Economics.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, calculations by the State Customs Committee revealed that the value of oil products exported increased by 2.4 times, while the volume saw a 62.3% rise compared to the same period in 2025. The Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, established in 1953, is responsible for refining oil in Azerbaijan and fully meets the country's oil product needs. Currently, the refinery is undergoing reconstruction and modernization.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan's oil product exports also include Armenia in their geographical scope.
