Baku: Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Jean Todt, the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Road Safety, on July 1 to discuss collaborative efforts in improving road safety, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting underscored the fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Nations in various sectors. Prime Minister Asadov commended the global initiatives spearheaded by the UN's Special Envoy to enhance road safety.

The discussion highlighted Azerbaijan's ongoing reforms aimed at upgrading road safety measures and developing road transport infrastructure to meet modern standards. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of integrating digital solutions to advance the country's transport system.
