On December 22, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Turkey’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations in all areas.

The importance of the agreements reached at the 9th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation held in Ankara in February this year in terms of expanding economic and trade relations between the two countries was noted.

Touching upon the importance of energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the role of joint transnational projects in ensuring Europe’s energy security was emphasized.
