Baku: Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov held a meeting with Turkey's Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, on March 13. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting highlighted the significance of the upcoming 13th Global Baku Forum. Both leaders commended the organization of panel discussions on the COP and climate agenda, which are set to take place on the sidelines of the event. These discussions are anticipated to pave the way for enhanced cooperation in addressing global environmental challenges.

Furthermore, the importance of the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), which is scheduled to be held in Baku in 2026, was emphasized. This event is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in terms of urbanization and sustainable development initiatives.
