Baku: Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Mohammad Mustafa, who was on an official visit to the country, APA reports. During the meeting, both leaders acknowledged the ongoing development of Azerbaijan-Palestine relations, which are grounded in friendship and mutual respect. They emphasized the necessity of effective cooperation and mutual support in international and regional organizations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ali Asadov reiterated Azerbaijan's commitment to resolving the Palestinian issue in line with international law norms and UN Security Council resolutions. Mohammad Mustafa expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's consistent political support for Palestine, highlighting its humanitarian aid and initiatives in education and other fields.

The discussions also covered the potential expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Palestine across various sectors.
