Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Highlights Strategic Importance of Turkish Investment Fund

Baku: Azerbaijan's Prime Minister, Ali Asadov, has underscored the strategic importance of the newly established Turkish Investment Fund in bolstering joint investment initiatives and expanding financial instruments in the region. He made these remarks during the 2nd Azerbaijan-Turkiye Investment Forum held in Baku.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a significant element of Azerbaijan-Turkiye cooperation involves the alignment of efforts within international and regional organizations. Prime Minister Asadov pointed out the successful collaboration within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as a key example of this partnership.

During discussions at the 1st Meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice Presidents of OTS member states in Bishkek, leaders explored opportunities for cooperation in crucial economic sectors, including trade, investment, transport, energy, and agriculture. Prime Minister Asadov also announced that Azerbaijan will host the second meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice Presidents in this newly established format in 2026.
