Baku: Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye Numan Kurtulmus, who is visiting the country.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting highlighted Baku's hosting of the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as an important event.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye, emphasizing the brotherhood, alliance, and mutual trust that underpin their cooperation across all areas.

The significance of interparliamentary cooperation as a crucial component of bilateral relations was also emphasized, along with the importance of close contacts and mutual visits between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

The discussions included a shared confidence that the Azerbaijan-Trkiye strategic partnership would continue to grow and be enriched with new content, as well as exploring prospects for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
