Azerbaijani champions, Qarabag FC, marked their first match in the European League play-off stage by facing off against Slovenian team Olimpia in Ljubljana, APA reports.

Qarabag secured a 0:2 victory, with goals from Medina and Leandro Andrade.

The second match will be played in Baku on August 31.
