Baku: The positive balance of recurring revenues in Azerbaijan reached 491 million USD last year, as reported by Samir Nasirov, the Director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, during a recent briefing.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Nasirov also highlighted that in 2024, the total volume of money transfers to Azerbaijan amounted to 1.083 billion USD. The largest portion of these transfers originated from Russia, totaling 497 million USD. Other significant contributors included Trkiye with 176 million USD, the USA with 65 million USD, Georgia with 35 million USD, and the United Kingdom with 34 million USD.
The report further detailed the volume of money transfers sent abroad from Azerbaijan last year. Trkiye received the highest amount, totaling 150 million USD, followed by the USA with 60 million USD, Russia with 58 million USD, Georgia with 45 million USD, and the United Kingdom with 28 million USD.
