Azerbaijan’s Revenues from Petroleum Product Exports Surge Over 50%

Baku: Azerbaijan exported 103,614.61 tons of oil products valued at $75.416 million during January-February of this year. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, calculations by APA-Economics, based on data published by the State Customs Committee, revealed that the value of oil product exports saw a 52% increase compared to the same period in 2025, despite a 7.1% decrease in export volumes.

The oil products in Azerbaijan are processed at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, which was established in 1953. The refinery is crucial as it fully satisfies the nation's demand for oil products. Currently, reconstruction and modernization efforts are underway at the facility to enhance its capacity and efficiency.
