Baku:State Committee Chairman Ramin Mammadov emphasized that there is no contradiction between Azerbaijan's secular governance model and its religious values.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Mammadov highlighted the importance of establishing values, mindset, and civic responsibility as foundations for the future Azerbaijani society. He stressed the need to educate the younger generation not only with national and moral values but also to foster independent thinking, accurate assessment of modern challenges, and preparation to contribute to the state's development and the well-being of its people.
Mammadov stated that sustainable state development relies not only on economic and technological capabilities but also on moral foundations, historical memory, and patriotism. He clarified that religious values should promote human dignity, compassion, justice, mutual respect, social solidarity, and peace. The freedom of religious belief, along with the principles of the rule of law, secularism, and respect for national-spiritual values, are seen as mutually reinforcing elements that enhance the country's social stability and solidarity.
