Azerbaijan’s securities market grows by 4%

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published a review of securities on the results of the first half of 2023. The document says that in January-June 5,582 deals worth AZN 8,510.3 million were concluded in Azerbaijan's capital market. This is up by 3.5% and 14.2% from the same period of the last year respectively. Note that a part of the semi-annual index of AZN 3,487 million was formed in the primary market (by 25.2% less), and a part of AZN 5,023.3 million in the secondary market (by 41% more). Of these, 1,204 transactions were in the primary market (25.7 per cent more) and 4,378 in the secondary market (11.5 per cent more).
