Baku: Azerbaijan's Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Turkish Trade Center (TTC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijani SMEs and business circles of Turkic countries. The agreement is set to expand investment and trade relations and enhance partnership opportunities among business entities.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the MoU was signed by KOBIA Chairman of the Board Orkhan Mammadov and Director of Turkish Trade Center Yilmaz Okuklu. The document outlines support for establishing direct contacts between Azerbaijani SMEs and entrepreneurs from Turkic countries, with a focus on identifying potential partners.

The MoU also includes plans to organize joint business and educational events, contributing to the development of relations between businesspeople. It emphasizes conducting mutual visits of business delegations, trade missions, and experts.

Additionally, the agreement calls for the exchange of information on exhibitions, fairs, and forums held in Azerbaijan and the Turkic states. It seeks to explore cooperation opportunities in investment, trade, and industry, while encouraging the participation of entrepreneurs in relevant events.

KOBIA representatives also took the opportunity to tour the Turkish Trade Center and its exhibition facilities, underscoring the commitment to fostering a collaborative business environment.
