Tbilisi: The opening ceremony of the United Nations Public Service Forum took place in Tbilisi, Georgia, with participation from 420 representatives across nearly 100 countries. Among the attendees was a delegation from the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) of Azerbaijan, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, as reported by the Ministry to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Minister of Justice Paata Salia, and United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Li Junhua addressed the audience, stressing the significance of the Forum. During the event, Zaka Mirzayev, Chairman of the Board of the State Social Protection Fund, highlighted Azerbaijan's advancements in providing accessible and people-centered public services in a panel session titled 'Integrated Service Delivery Systems for Leaving No One Behind.'

Mirzayev discussed the progress of reforms in Azerbaijan's social insurance and protection sectors, with a focus on innovative solutions. He emphasized the success in digitalizing and proactively delivering public social services, aiming for efficiency, transparency, and citizen satisfaction. The presentation also covered Azerbaijan's objectives regarding its insurance-pension and social protection system.

The Forum's sessions further explored the development of inclusive public governance through digital inclusion, participatory governance, and transparency mechanisms to enhance government accountability and public trust. Additional discussions revolved around promoting equal participation, managing digital transformation, and building digital public infrastructure for service delivery. Participants exchanged insights on accessible public services, combating disinformation, and other pertinent topics.
