Azerbaijan’s State Budget Revenues Near AZN 20 Billion

Baku: In the first six months of 2025, more than 690 thousand payment orders were executed by the treasury bodies, and the revenues of the state budget were implemented with a surplus compared to the forecast.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, citing the Ministry of Finance, the revenues of the state budget for January-June amounted to 19,803.9 million manats, surpassing the six-month forecast by 704.8 million manats, which is an increase of 3.7 percent.

Revenues generated through the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy reached 8,703.7 million manats, exceeding expectations by 466.4 million manats or 5.7 percent. Meanwhile, the State Customs Committee reported revenues of 3,091.1 million manats, marginally above the forecast by 4.1 million manats or 0.1 percent. The State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy contributed 21.9 million manats, surpassing the forecast by 5.1 million manats or 30.3 percent. Transfers from the State Oil Fund amounted to 7,240.5 million manats, meeting the forecast at 100 percent. Other revenue sources contributed 434.6 million manats, exceeding the forecast by 314.1 million manats or 3.6 times.

However, revenues from paid services of organizations financed by the state budget amounted to 312.1 million manats, falling short of the forecast by 84.9 million manats or 21.4 percent. On the expenditure side, the state budget for January-June was 17,275.9 million manats, with actual spending at 17,095.6 million manats, achieving 99.0 percent of the forecast.
