The volume of trade turnover of Azerbaijan with the EU countries made up USD 15,201 bln. last year, which is 62,9% more in comparison to 2020, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the indicators published by the State Customs Committee.

In 2021, Azerbaijan’s export to the EU increased by 92.1% annually and made up USD 13,064 bln, while import decreased by 15,6% to constitute USD 2,137 bln.

As a result, last year, Azerbaijan’s positive trade balance with the EU was USD 10,928 bln. which is 2.6 times more in comparison with the same period of 2020.
