Swimmer Roman Saleh from the Azerbaijani team won the 12th gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

Having swum a distance of 100 m butterfly in 57.81 seconds, he took first place. Earlier, Saleh had already won twice at distances of 100 meters on the back and breaststroke.

Thus, the Azerbaijani national team has 12 gold medals, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.
