Havana: Cuba’s ‘Danza Teatro Retazos’ theatre played host to a concert marking November 8, the Victory Day of Azerbaijan. Co-organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and the Azerbaijani Embassy to Cuba, the event was supported by the Cuban Ministry of Culture and the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana. It drew representatives from the Cuban ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture, the office of the Historian of the City of Havana, as well as the diplomatic corps and members of the embassies of Trkiye, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, Georgia, Chile, Venezuela, Grenada, Niger, and the local community.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Cuba, Ruslan Rzayev, addressed the gathering. He emphasized Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, including its traditional mugham and national dances. The event showcased the unique elements of Azerbaijani culture, with performances by Azerbaijani musicians and folk dancers, highlighting the country’s artistic traditions.
