Rio de janeiro: The 29th Annual Scientific Session on Cardiology, organized by the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR), took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, attracting top cardiologists and researchers worldwide. Azerbaijan made a notable impression at the event through the participation of Yasmin Rustamova, a Doctor in Medical Sciences and associate professor at Azerbaijan Medical University.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the conference featured scientific discussions with experts from the U.S., South Africa, Russia, and several European nations. Yasmin Rustamova's contributions were recognized with the prestigious honorary title FACC (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology), awarded by the American College of Cardiology.
