BAKU—Zarina Zeynalova, CEO of Azercell Telecom LLC, met with Azerbaijani judo athletes Hidayat Heydarov and Zelim Kotsoyev on August 21, following their gold medal victories at the Olympic Games in Paris. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Judo Federation and Azercell.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Zeynalova congratulated the athletes, expressing the pride felt by the nation as Azerbaijan’s flag was raised in Paris. She highlighted Azercell’s ongoing partnership with the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, which has spanned nearly three years, and emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting sports development and societal welfare through this collaboration. The partnership has also resulted in initiatives aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing early marriages, protecting children’s rights, and combating drug abuse.

During the meeting, the Olympic champions were enrolled in Azercell’s “SuperS?n” tariff package and later met with Azercell employees. Azercell extended its congratulations to the athletes, the Judo Federation, and the entire Azerbaijani nation, expressing hope for further successes.
