BAKU — Azercell Telecom LLC has announced the acceptance of digital identity cards for all transactions at its offices, effective from September 2, 2024, as part of its commitment to enhancing customer service through digital innovation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, in collaboration with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), allows customers to use the ‘mygov’ application for identity verification at Azercell Exclusive offices. The move, which aligns with a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on July 16, 2024, aims to provide secure, efficient, and convenient service, with plans to expand this feature to all Azercell dealer stores shortly.
