‘AzerGold’ CJSC Engages with Goygol Communities in CSR Meeting

Baku: Members of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee of 'AzerGold' CJSC convened with local residents in the Goygol district to discuss ongoing and future initiatives impacting the community. The meeting, supported by the District Executive Power, featured prominent figures such as Vugar Novruzov, Head of the Goygol District Executive Power, alongside Ilgar Jalilov, Deputy Chairman of 'AzerGold' CJSC and CSR Committee member.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, residents from Tulallar and Zurnabad villages, near the 'Tulallar' gold mine where 'AzerGold' is actively conducting extraction operations, participated in the dialogue. Vugar Novruzov underscored the significance of 'AzerGold' CJSC's projects in enhancing the socio-economic framework of the district, acknowledging the company's contributions.

Ilgar Jalilov highlighted the employment boost in the area, with 168 local residents securing permanent jobs due to the company's activities at the 'Tulallar' gold mine. The meeting also facilitated an exchange of perspectives on improving the welfare of the Goygol district's population and reviewed projects implemented throughout the year. Discussions extended to a mobile medical examination campaign that benefited 436 residents across several villages, including Tulallar and Zurnabad.

Future plans were outlined, focusing on agricultural, environmental, and infrastructure projects, with commitments extending to the end of 2026. These projects will address veterinary services, sericulture, women's employment, and environmental efforts. The meeting concluded with the registration of residents' appeals for further investigation and resolution, reinforcing the company's dedication to community engagement.

The continuation of traditional meetings with village residents was affirmed, aligning with 'AzerGold' CJSC's commitment to initiatives targeting specific groups within the community.
