Dashkasan: The 7th mobile medical examination campaign, organized by AzerGold CJSC with support from the Baku Health Center, recently concluded, providing crucial healthcare services to residents of the Dashkasan district.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this year's campaign marked the 10th anniversary of AzerGold CJSC's operations and was conducted under the theme "Health First!". The campaign focused on villages and settlements around the "Chovdar" gold mine, offering free medical examinations to 322 district residents across various specialties.

During the campaign, residents received consultations from specialists including ophthalmologists, general practitioners, ENT specialists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, neurologists, pediatricians, and general surgeons. Diagnostic services such as ultrasound (USG), echocardiogram (ECHO), electrocardiogram (ECG), blood and urine analyses, as well as tests for viral hepatitis and blood sugar levels, were also available.

A mobile ophthalmic clinic provided advanced eye care, offering services such as general eye examinations, vision diagnostics, intraocular pressure measurements, and ocular refractive power assessments directly to the residents.

In total, 2,165 medical services were delivered during the campaign. Those diagnosed with health issues received treatment recommendations and advice on follow-up testing. Residents in need of specialized care were directed to appropriate healthcare institutions for further assistance.

Since 2021, AzerGold CJSC has been committed to improving healthcare access in remote areas through these mobile medical examination campaigns. The initiative aims to enhance early disease detection and encourage preventive health practices. To date, 14,055 medical services have been provided to 3,258 residents across all campaigns.
