Baku:Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev recently met with Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The meeting took place on October 14 and focused on enhancing relations between the two countries.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Bahraini Foreign Minister conveyed greetings from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to President Aliyev, emphasizing the importance the King places on the relationship with Azerbaijan. President Aliyev expressed his gratitude and asked the Minister to return his regards to the King.

During their discussions, President Aliyev highlighted the strong friendship and partnership between Azerbaijan and Bahrain. He noted that the visit by the Foreign Minister was a valuable opportunity to discuss various aspects of their bilateral relations.

Additionally, Minister Al Zayani congratulated President Aliyev on the successful extension of Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), praising the country's leadership within the organization. The meeting also included an exchange of views on potential areas of cooperation between the two nations.
