Bakcell Becomes Innovation Partner for Media Literacy Conference

Baku: Bakcell has been recognized as the innovation partner of the Media Literacy Conference, which is part of the Media Literacy Week organized by the Media Development Agency. The conference aims to foster a reliable information environment, combat disinformation, and uphold information security within society.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Media Literacy Week has been an annual event since 2022, taking place every December under the Media Development Agency's guidance. This initiative has seen over 50 training sessions and events, engaging more than 3,000 participants in literacy programs. This year's events are scheduled from December 15 to 22 and include specialized training sessions for young people, featuring international experts.

Bakcell's involvement in this initiative underscores its commitment to enhancing media literacy in the country and contributing to the creation of a trustworthy information environment.
