Baku-Batumi Daily Flights to Enhance Azerbaijan-Georgia Economic Ties

Baku: Bilateral political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia are developing, confirmed by a growing trade turnover. Last year, bilateral trade reached $300 million. One of the key issues is the rational management of tourist flows. Currently, two flights are operated in the Baku-Batumi direction per week, and starting from June, flights will be operated daily.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, discussed these developments at a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev and the Consul General in Batumi Fuad Azizov. The meeting focused on prospects for deepening the existing bilateral partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, as well as all current issues on the agenda.

The meeting was also attended by Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Tsintsadze.
