Baku: Baku Energy Week, recognized as the most prestigious energy event in the Caspian region, is scheduled to take place from June 1-3, 2026. The event will gather global energy leaders, leading energy companies, government institutions, investors, and industry experts for discussions and presentations on the latest energy sector developments.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Baku Energy Week has established itself as a significant event on the global calendar, renowned for fostering energy dialogue at both regional and international levels. The event unites three major exhibitions: the International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition, the Caspian International Clean Energy Exhibition - Caspian Power, and the Baku Energy Forum, held at the Baku Expo Center and Baku Congress Center.
The participation of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev in the opening ceremony underscores the event's high status. In a letter to participants of Baku Energy Week 2025, President Aliyev highlighted the event's role in shaping new approaches and international energy dialogue. He emphasized its evolution from the Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition into a prestigious international event contributing to energy diplomacy and strategic partnerships.
World leaders, including the Presidents of the United States and Trkiye and the UK Prime Minister, have sent welcome letters to participants, affirming the event's international importance. High-level guests are expected this year, with support from the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) as the General Partner.
This year, 274 companies from 44 countries have confirmed participation in Baku Energy Week. Notably, 35% of participants are new companies, with 60% being foreign entities, highlighting growing international interest in Azerbaijan's energy sector. Leading industry companies occupy 40% of the exhibition space, many acting as sponsors.
Prominent companies such as ABB, bp, ExxonMobil, and TotalEnergies are among the event's participants and sponsors. PASA Bank serves as the Official Bank, recognized by International Investor Magazine as 'Best Bank in Azerbaijan' and 'Best SME Bank in Azerbaijan' for 2026. Additional partners include Absheron Hotel Group and Accurate MMC.
Participants can use complimentary shuttle services provided by Kolin Insaat from 'Koroghlu' metro to the Baku Expo Center. For over 30 years, Baku Energy Week has been a platform for strategic dialogue and international cooperation, expanding beyond traditional energy sectors into green energy, digitalization, and more.
The event's business program includes panel discussions, case studies, B2B and B2G meetings, and signing ceremonies for new partnerships. AI RoboCafe, introduced in 2025, will operate at the venues, showcasing innovative technology. The Baku Energy Forum, taking place on June 1-2, will feature around 600 delegates, 60 speakers, and meetings of high importance, such as the 1st Meeting of the Ministers of Energy of D-8 Member States. The Forum agenda covers challenges and opportunities in the energy sector, supporting Azerbaijan's strategic energy policy and the region's green energy potential.
The Zero Waste and Zero Food Waste initiatives will continue, with a focus on environmentally responsible solutions. Baku Energy Week remains a unique platform for engaging with global energy leaders, discovering technological innovations, and forming new business connections, contributing significantly to energy partnerships and technological advancements over the past three decades.
