Baku: An online meeting was held to develop cooperation between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Khalifa University, one of the prestigious higher education institutions of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In her remarks, BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul highlighted the current state of existing cooperation ties with Khalifa University and their future development prospects.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Vice-Rector recalled the visit of the BEU delegation to Khalifa University last month, emphasizing its importance in strengthening mutual trust and building cooperation between the parties. She underscored opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in engineering, technology, innovation, and scientific research, alongside exchange programs, dual-degree initiatives, and other forms of academic cooperation.
During the meeting, attended by the academic staff of both universities, the parties discussed the prospects of existing relations and held extensive exchanges of views on implementing joint scientific projects in relevant fields. They also focused on establishing research cooperation and organizing mutual experience exchange.
The sides explored opportunities for strengthening cooperation at the level of academic staff and preparing joint scientific publications. An initial agreement was reached on the systematic development of institutional relations between the parties. Khalifa University, as one of the leading higher education institutions of the UAE, holds high positions in international ranking tables and stands out for its strong academic potential in science, engineering, technology, and research.
