BAKU – The Baku Global Climate Transparency Platform (BTP) was officially launched today, as stated by Yalchin Rafiyev, the Lead Negotiator of COP29, during a High-Level Dialogue on Climate Transparency.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Rafiyev highlighted the importance of the platform in ensuring transparency in climate reporting. The platform aims to assist parties in submitting accurate climate change reports by the designated deadline in December, fostering stronger inter-party communication and cooperation. Rafiyev stressed that transparency and collaboration are vital to achieving the goals of the UNFCCC.
