An Uzbek delegation led by Prof. Botir Usmonov, Rector of Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, visited the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.

During the tour of the university campus, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov provided detailed information about Baku Higher Oil School. He emphasized the close cooperation between BHOS and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, highlighting the meeting as another successful step in strengthening this partnership.

Prof. Botir Usmonov expressed gratitude to Elmar Gasimov for the warm welcome and praised the facilities at Baku Higher Oil School. He emphasized the importance of Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology benefiting from BHOS’s experience and invited BHOS students and staff to participate in an upcoming hackathon in Uzbekistan scheduled for May.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration, including the implementation of a Dual Diploma Master Program, student exchange programs, and the organization of summer schools.
