Baku: The 17th Conference and the 3rd Forum of Young Ophthalmologists of Azerbaijan, dedicated to honored scientist Professor Zahra Guliyeva, were held in Baku. The event was co-organized by the Ministry of Health, the National Ophthalmology Center named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva, and the Azerbaijan Society of Ophthalmologists.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the forum aimed to inform young professionals about the application of artificial intelligence in modern ophthalmology. Discussions focused on the role of these technologies in clinical practice and scientific research, and highlighted the significance of innovative approaches in the professional development of young ophthalmologists.

The program included panel discussions and interactive sessions on AI-based diagnostic tools, clinical decision support systems, and teleophthalmology. Ethical and legal issues related to the use of these technologies were also addressed.
