Baku Hosts 9th International Banking Forum Highlighting Cashless Economy

Baku: Today, the 9th International Banking Forum has started its work in Baku, APA-Economics reports. The event is dedicated to the theme ‘Reliable, Secure and Sustainable Banking’ and discusses the banking sector’s trends in transitioning to a cashless economy, digital transformation, and new financial technologies. Heads of government agencies, regulators, commercial banks, fintech companies, and international organizations are participating in the forum.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the panel discussions focus on the sector’s sustainability, innovative services, and the development of the data ecosystem. The forum provides a platform for key stakeholders to exchange insights on the evolving banking landscape.

It should be noted that on November 20, the Forum will continue with topics on cybersecurity, prevention of digital fraud, analytics-based lending, and new opportunities in capital markets.
