Baku Hosts Closing Ceremony for European Championship in TeamGym


BAKU: The 15th European Championship in TeamGym concluded with a closing ceremony in Baku, marking the end of a competitive event that featured 46 teams from 14 countries. The championship, held at the National Gymnastics Arena, showcased performances judged by a panel of 28 experts.

According to Trend News Agency, the teams hailed from a diverse group of nations, including the Czech Republic, Denmark, Austria, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, and the host country, Azerbaijan. The event highlighted the skills and coordination required in TeamGym, a discipline that emphasizes teamwork and precision.

The competition’s successful conclusion in Baku sets the stage for the next European Championship in TeamGym, which is scheduled to take place in Finland. This decision reflects the ongoing rotation of host countries, allowing different nations to showcase their commitment to the sport.
