Baku: A roundtable focused on expanding cooperation in the field of higher education between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan was hosted in Baku, APA reports. The event saw participation from key figures, including Emin Amrullayev, the Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, and Sayasat Nurbek, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, other notable attendees included Alim Bayel, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan; Yerlan Sydykov, the Rector of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University; Elchin Babayev, the Rector of Baku State University; and Hafiz Pashayev, the Rector of ADA University. More than 40 rectors from various institutions also participated in the event.

The roundtable facilitated discussions on expanding and strengthening academic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The event culminated with the signing of memorandums between universities from both countries, marking a step forward in educational collaboration.
