Baku Hosts Inaugural European TeamGym Championship


Baku: The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku is currently hosting the first European TeamGym Championship, which began on October 16 and will conclude on October 19. This event marks the debut of the championship in Azerbaijan and features teams from across Europe competing in a series of gymnastic disciplines.

According to Trend News Agency, the European TeamGym Championship is a team-based competition that involves performances on three different gymnastic apparatuses: the TeamGym mat, the acrobatic track, and the trampoline, also known as the mini-tramp. The championship has attracted the best teams from across Europe, all vying for the prestigious title.

The event is significant not only for its competitive aspect but also for highlighting the popularity and development of TeamGym, a relatively new discipline in the world of gymnastics. Spectators at the National Gymnastics Arena are expected to experience a range of emotions as they witness these thrilling performances for the first time.
