Baku: The Baku Initiative Group (BIG) has significantly expanded its international cooperation network, establishing ties with more than 20 countries and overseas territories. Abbas Abbasov, the Executive Director of BIG, announced this development during an international conference in Baku titled 'Racism and Violence Against Sikhs and Other Minorities in India: The Reality on the Ground.'

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, over the past two years, BIG has organized more than 30 high-level international conferences across various countries. These conferences have attracted political leaders, academics, legal experts, representatives of independence movements, civil society institutions, and UN special rapporteurs. The organization operates in full compliance with international law and human rights principles, positioning itself as a key player in the global decolonization movement.

Abbasov emphasized that BIG has not only built cooperation ties with over 20 countries and territories but has also formed partnerships with more than 25 organizations and international institutions. The group's efforts are geared towards fostering international dialogue and collaboration on critical global issues.
