Baku Media Forum Focuses on Building Trust in a Polarized World

Baku:The city recently hosted a media forum titled 'Building Trust through Media in a Polarized World'. This event brought together participants to discuss the role of media in fostering trust amid global divisions.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the forum included bilateral meetings and a tour of the Heydar Aliyev Center for its participants. In addition to the forum, Baku was the site of a Distinguished Visitors Day, held as part of the 'Power of Unity - 2026' exercise.

Other notable events in the region included Azerbaijan's Minister of Internal Affairs attending the CIS Council of Interior Ministers meeting, and a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Greece Intergovernmental Commission held in Athens.

A cooperation program was signed between the Prosecutor General's Offices of Azerbaijan and Russia. Meanwhile, ADY announced additional services on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route, with four daily services set to operate.

In related regional activities, ANAMA reported that 908 mines and 4,525 unexploded ordnances were neutralized over the past month. Additionally, Chinese citizens celebrated 77 years of the People's Republic, expressing confidence in their ongoing modernization efforts.
