Baku to host 22nd exhibition-fair of beekeeping products

In Baku, on the square near the Ganjlik metro station, from October 1 to 20, the traditional, 22nd exhibition-fair of bee products will be held. The organizers (Ministry of Agriculture and the Association of Beekeepers of Azerbaijan) have started preparatory work.

Registration of bee farmers to participate in the fair is carried out through the Internet resource and will begin on August 29th. This year, no more than 250 first registered beekeepers will take part in the fair. To participate in the fair, each beekeeper must have at least 40 bee colonies. There are other restrictions: one beekeeper can put up for sale no more than 400 kg of honey and 30 kg of beeswax, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Recall that 150 manats are to be paid to participate at the fair is paid – 150 manats. This amount includes the provision of space and the necessary equipment for the sale, fair marketing, logistics, warehousing and other services.

Last year, the exhibition-fair of bee products was held at the same address from October 20 to November 7. It sold over 100 tons of bee products.
