Baku to Host 2nd International Conference of Leading National Analytical Centers of Turkic States

Baku: The 2nd International Conference of Leading National Analytical Centers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is set to take place at Gulustan Palace on September 16. The event is co-organized by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) and the OTS.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the conference, themed "Enhancing Economic Cooperation across the Organization of Turkic States through Continuous Consultations and Joint Research," aims to deepen economic integration among Turkic states. It seeks to establish common research platforms and strengthen institutional cooperation amidst changes in the global economy.

The opening ceremony will include speeches by Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration; Kubanychbek Omuraliev, OTS Secretary General; and Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of CAERC.

The conference will see participation from representatives of government institutions, leading analytical centers, academia, international organizations, financial institutions, and the business community. It aims to promote analytical cooperation, establish long-term research networks across the Turkic world, encourage dialogue among experts, and support evidence-based policymaking.

Three panel discussions will be held during the conference. The first will focus on the Middle Corridor's role as a catalyst for regional integration and infrastructure-driven development. The second will explore trade and economic cooperation among OTS member states and its future potential. The third panel will delve into innovation, economic transformation, digitalization, and AI-driven models for sustainable development, featuring speakers from leading analytical centers, prominent scholars, and international experts from OTS member and observer states.

The conference is expected to contribute to deeper economic integration across the Turkic world, strengthen research and innovation cooperation, and support the implementation of the strategic objectives outlined in the "Turkic World Vision 2040" document.
