Baku: The next meeting of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is set to take place in Baku this September. This announcement was made by OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev during a press briefing in Shusha, Azerbaijan, where the first meeting of the heads of state bodies responsible for religious affairs of the OTS was held on June 30.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the annual gathering of the Council holds significant importance in the region. It provides a platform for discussions on various pertinent issues, with specialized working groups addressing topics such as combating terrorism and extremism.
