Belarus begins snap combat readiness drills

The armed forces of Belarus have begun sudden drills to test their combat readiness under the direction of the State Secretariat of the Security Council following the instruction of the President of the Republic of Belarus – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, APA reports citing BelTA.

 

The activities will be of a comprehensive nature. Troops will have to move out to the designated areas, carry out their engineering, protection, and defense activities, and build bridges across the Neman and Berezina rivers.

 

The movement of military equipment and personnel will take place during the period, which envisages a temporary restriction of the movement of citizens (transport) on certain public roads and areas.
