Khankendi:Igor Sergeyenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, visited Khankendi on October 14.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Sabuhi Gahramanov, Deputy Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Khankendi City, Khojaly, and Aghdara districts, welcomed the Belarusian delegation. He provided them with detailed information about Khankendi's history and the ongoing restoration and reconstruction efforts in the city. The return of former internally displaced persons to Khankendi and the settlement of Karkijahan is part of the Great Return Programme.

The delegation led by Igor Sergeyenko also visited Victory Park in Khankendi. They then toured Garabagh University, where they were briefed on the university's activities, educational facilities, and efforts to develop educational infrastructure in the territories liberated from occupation.
