Bidirectional Meters Introduced in Azerbaijan’s Liberated Territories for the First Time

Baku: Special Representative of the President, Emin Huseynov, announced that bidirectional meters are being implemented for the first time in Azerbaijan, specifically in the liberated territories. This development was revealed during the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, where Huseynov emphasized the importance of economic efficiency in projects undertaken in these areas.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Huseynov highlighted the integration of 'green zone' principles across projects in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts. He stressed that maintaining ecological balance and ensuring projects have a positive impact on people's budgets are vital factors. The installation of solar panels on residential buildings and the use of bidirectional meters are part of these efforts to enhance economic efficiency and ecological sustainability in the liberated territories.
