Baku: Azerbaijan plays an exemplary role in advancing regional cooperation. The country has also a unique opportunity to address important global challenges by providing an important platform at the level of the Global Baku Forum, said Binali Yildirim, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), at the opening ceremony of the 13th Global Baku Forum.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Yildirim emphasized the need for dialogue in light of current global developments. He noted that the fragmentation and conflicts occurring in many regions underscore the necessity for platforms that promote regional collaboration. Yildirim highlighted the importance of creating reliable transport corridors, which bolster the trade system and contribute to economic interdependence.
