Accra:Birbank Customers using the Birbank app can now confirm their money transfers using SIMA Imza, a new digital signature solution. This advancement eliminates the need to receive or manually enter a one-time verification code, making the process faster and more convenient.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the SIMA Imza integration aims to streamline the confirmation process for money transfers, reducing additional steps and enhancing the digital banking experience. Previously, confirmations were conducted using one-time verification codes sent through the 3D Secure authentication system.

Currently, the new feature is available to customers who have registered with SIMA Imza through the Birbank app. Other users can still use the existing 3D Secure verification code method to confirm their money transfers. In the future, all users will have the option to confirm their transfers using SIMA Imza.

SIMA Imza, developed by AzInTelecom LLC, a subsidiary of AZCON Holding, offers a next-generation digital signature solution that allows secure and convenient access to various public and private services. Users can obtain this digital signature for free through the mobile application, without needing to visit a service center.
