BISHKEK – The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek has decided to extend the arrest of Imamidin Tashov, the owner of the KG Group construction company.

According to 24.kg News Agency, this decision prolongs Tashov’s detention until January 15, 2024, pending the conclusion of the ongoing investigation.

The State Committee for National Security alleges that Tashov’s company, Oztopark LLC (part of KG Group), illegally constructed a 12-story residential building on land designated for a kindergarten. This incident reportedly resulted in a financial loss of 52 million soms to the state, which remains uncompensated. Tashov was initially detained on October 26.
