Baku: On May 5, the price of Bitcoin saw a decrease on cryptocurrency exchanges, APA-Economics reports. Bitcoin, known as the world’s most expensive cryptocurrency, experienced a fall of 1.59% over the last 24 hours, reaching USD 94,396 on the CoinMarketCap platform at 9:10 AM Baku time.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a decrease was also observed in the price of Ethereum over the past day. The value of this cryptocurrency dropped by 1.89%, amounting to USD 1,803. Among the top five cryptocurrencies, XRP decreased by 1.76%, while BNB recorded a drop of 1.48% over the last 24 hours.

It is noted that the highest price of Bitcoin was recorded on December 16 of last year, when it surpassed USD 108,000.
