Mardakan: The body of Elmar Isa oghlu Abdulov, born in 2007, has been recovered from the waters off Mardakan, according to the Azeri-Press News Agency. Diver-rescuers successfully retrieved the body and have handed it over to the relevant authorities for further procedures. The search efforts continue for another missing individual, Parviz Zohrab oghlu Majidov, born in 2003.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this recovery follows the earlier retrieval of the bodies of Namig Isabala Azimov, born in 1991, and Elnur Isa Abdulov, born in 2005. These efforts are part of an ongoing search and rescue operation conducted by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' diver-rescuers. The victims were found in an unsupervised section of the sea in the Mardakan settlement of Baku's Khazar district, approximately three kilometers from the nearest rescue station.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations' Press Service reported that an initial emergency call was received by MES's 112 hotline, alerting them to the drowning incident involving four individuals. In response, divers from the State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue were promptly dispatched to the area. Search operations are actively underway as authorities continue their efforts to locate the remaining missing person.
