Baku: The bone remains of an Indian citizen who went missing in Zagatala, Azerbaijan, are currently undergoing forensic examination. Adalat Hasanov, the Director-General of the Forensic Medical Expertise and Pathological Anatomy Unit of the Ministry of Health, shared this information with APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the remains are being scrutinized in the Forensic Criminology Department of the Unit. The examination aims to establish the identity of the deceased. Hasanov emphasized that once the examination is complete and identity confirmed, the remains will be transferred to the Zagatala district prosecutor’s office. From there, they will be handed over to the relevant authorities for further proceedings.

This development comes as part of an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of the Indian national, whose identity remains undisclosed pending the forensic results. Authorities are working diligently to resolve the case and provide closure to the concerned parties.
